[Samba] Ubuntu client ddns failure [SOLVED]

Nailed it:
/etc/hostname has to have the fqdn:
lubuntu-laptop.hh3.site

So now, hostname returns incorrectly but hostname -s and hostname -f are 
OK. That gotta be a bug no?
