[Samba] net time for non domain member, is it possible?

Hello!

My colleague just asked me is it possible or not to get time on 
non-domain computer from samba 3 domain controller.
When he do

net time \\server /set /y

he gets access denied .
I guess this is expected behavior, because machine is not domain member.

But I don't know is it possible to provide guest access for time.
Could you tell me is it possible or not?
