[Samba] Upgrading from 4.1.4 to 4.1.6 on FreeBSD 9.2

At a guess it is linking against the installed libraries rather than the ones it just built.

You could either delete the old samba first (create a backup package first), or build it inside a chroot (eg use Poudriere http://www.freebsd.org/doc/handbook/ports-poudriere.html)
