We have a HowTo about setting up file shares in the Wiki:
https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Setup_and_configure_file_shares
There we'll describe how to configure permissions in general. You can
set them through Windows now and use all Windows specific ACLs.
So I'd recommend to have a look at the HowTo and check if everything is
working properly. And for questions about setting specific ACLs, the
Windows documentation/forums are very helpful (it was at least for me,
as for the last 15 years I set ACLs only on Linux and I'm still
sometimes confused with the Windows ACLs :-)).
Regards,
Marc
