And I think that this is where all your problems are coming from, samba4 
in AD mode doesn't like things like '%h' and as I said, I am sure the 
workgroup name shouldn't have the dot in it.

Anyway you could try running the upgrade again, but change the '%h' to 
the machines name first and see how you go on from there, I think that 
you may have found a bug in the 'classicupgrade'
