[Samba] help compiling samba

I appreciate the reply, I'm a bit confounded.

I switched compilers, using arm-linux-gnueabi-gcc from ubuntu's repository
and it made absoutely no difference.  The binaries aren't 'seen' as
binaries by android.

I hope someone can chime in with a solution.
