[Samba] Setting up workstations in a samba4 domain (not using a gui!)

There is a webmin module on http://sourceforge.net/projects/samba4all/ that I have been creating. I know no GUI.

It basically just calls cli commands through a web interface and please steal, borrow and of the scripts.

Only reason I am replying is that I feel I have hit a cul de sac.

Ldap doesn't really lend it self to CLI control it really needs a LDAP manager and being graphical due to the complexity that LDAP can be.

You can set up the servers very easily with samba-tool but user management is very limited.

My only concession that I want to make is that when I am administering windows group policies then I will use a windows interface.

I do expect to use other clients and it irks me that I am being forced to use windows to accomplish this whilst my whole rationale of choice for samba is because I don't want this.
