Never seen that. :-)

Why not simply disabling the roaming profiles totally? Then you have the 
same, except, that the profiles of each user is stored local on each 
host instead it is pushed to the server on logouts.

I'm not sure if this is possible with AD/GPO. You can ask that question 
in a MS forum. Maybe someone there have an idea how to achieve this.
