This is what smbclient needs to be compiled for:

smbclient: ELF 32-bit MSB shared object, PowerPC or cisco 4500, version 1 (SYSV), dynamically linked (uses shared libs), for GNU/Linux 2.6.34, with unknown capability 0x41000000 = 0x13676e75, with unknown capability 0x10000 = 0xb0402, stripped

Any input into this request? I've seen posts where cross compiling was not working for 4.1.0. Has this been resolved? Is there something special I need to do? This is kind of high priority, as the SMB2 support is very important, and we need 4.1.0 smbclient to support it!

Thanks,
- Mike

What is the status of cross compiling samba 4.1.0 with the new waf configure. We don't have a native compiler or emulator to use. We used autoconf in 3.6.5 and earlier, which worked successfully. We are in need of smbclient, which supports SMB2 (and maybe SMB3?) right away, so we need to resolve this issue.

Thanks,
Mike Tompkins
