[Samba] [Announce] Samba 4.1.0 Available for Download

Hello,

I have a question about the upgrade process.

Is it possible to configure, make and make install the newer version of 
samba and then just restart the old samba process via "service samba 
restart"?  Would that work, or would it just corrupt the database.
