[Samba] samba idmap uid and gid

Hello,
 
I wanted to find out if it was possible to access the a samba file containing the  idmap uid and gid entries on Centos 5 linux. 
 
I have a problem with mapping uids between Widows 2008 Svr AD Kerberos and Linux. What I would like to do is actually modify the UID on the linux side if possible. 
 
Apologies in advance if this has been asked already, but could not find anything in my search.
