[Samba] Solaris 11 can't join Active Directory Domain

I've started samba in debug mode and saw this:
auth_check_password_send: Checking password for unmapped user []\[]@[(null)]
Not sure how to understand the meaning of this. Can it be, that Solaris
is sending something weird to the Samba server?
