[Samba] smbldap-tool scripts not executing

I'm running a samba pdc+ldap and am having issue with a windows 7 client.
Checking the logs, I see nothing about smbldap-useradd. If I manually run
smbldap-useradd -w hostname$, I'm able to add the client to the domain, but
then run into the trust issue preventing anyone from logging in.
The PDC was running Samba 3.6 from Sernet, but downgraded to 3.5 as part of
CentOS 6.

As a test, I put a typo in the config for the location of the
smbldap-useradd script, but no errors. So Samba isnt executing the script
and I'm not sure why not.
