Okay, for the newer Samba releases, I think they have made it so you 
need to use the net command or something similar.

In order to get these rights for myself on my setup, I had to run this:

/usr/local/bin/net sam rights grant jax SePrintOperatorPrivilege

Perhaps some variant of this will work for you
