Have you already tried expand_msdfs module?
For example ...

Setting smb.conf
-----
[whatever]
  ...
  path = /some/where
  vfs objects = expand_msdfs
-----

Creating /some/where2/whatever.map
-----
192.168.1 subnet1space
192.168.2 subnet2space
...
-----

Creating DFS link:
-----
# ln -s msdfs:myserver\\@/some/where2/whatever.map@ share
-----

Please look at source3/modules/vfs_expand_msdfs.c, BUG#5998 and
BUG#7779 for the detail.
