[Samba] Status of printing with ctdb

Hi

I posted this to the samba-technical mailing list, but I think that may
have been the wrong place.

I have been trying to get printing working with ctdb samba (plus Windows
driver installation). Every time I install the drivers for Windows it
looks like it's copying file but the printer just keeps re-asking for
drivers. I have print$ on a GFS2 filesystem to share across the cluster,
which seemed like the right thing to do.

Is this known to work at all?

I'm using RHEL6 with their shipped ctdb 1.0.112 and Samba 3.5.4.

I have tried googling for this and searching back in the mailing list
but find nothing recent about it. Only past things about printers.tdb
not yet being clustered, but not sure if this is still true.

Also I had a thought that I could use ctdb samba to serve file and use a
single second samba to serve just the printers. However it looks like
the ctdb samba's listen on all IP's the machine has. So I wondered about
using "socket address" in the smb.conf's but not sure if the clustering
will like this (esp if the machine doesn't currently "own" that IP and
it's on another node). Anyone tried this ?

Thanks

Colin
