[Samba] Domain join problem

Have you set your nodename(hostname) to be correctly resolved?

To set your nodename to /etc/hosts like:

-----
x.x.x.x v240rd1.corp.go2uti.com v240rd1
-----

solves the problem?

BTW your Solaris server has static IP address?
