[Samba] suppress messages from syslog

Hi.

this step I have tried, but without success, samba messages are still 
sending to syslog.

Try setting:
syslog = 0

in the [global] section of your smb.conf file.

That should stop Samba from sending anything to syslog if I understand
the man page correctly.
