You need to describe exactly what it is you are doing in detail and
where it is that something goes wrong.  Bear in mind that most people
here probably know next to nothing about TSM and even people who have
heard of it might not have access to it to try it with Samba 3.5
themselves.

i.e. you have to help people to help you.

e.g how does TSM make use of Samba?  What operating system is TSM
running on?  I have heard of TSM, but know nothing about it, so is
this the TSM server that's using Samba or is it a TSM client if there
is such a thing?

Maybe you can get network traces of TSM interacting with Samba 3.2.x
vs 3.5.x and compare them using Wireshark and post here about the
differences.
