Hi all,

I am new to Samba4 so sorry if my first question is "stupid".

We have some Windows7 computers at our office and i decided to give Samba4
a try.

Did follow: http://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Samba4/HOWTO

No big problem, some hours later I had a Windows7 box joined to the Samba4
domain and a user logged in, did create some text documents on the users
desktop, logged out and saw that the documments was syncronized to the
Samba4 server.

Did remove the user files and the registry settings and logged in again,
all files and settings came back! :) Me very happy!

But, when I downloaded I file from Internet, saved it on the Desktop and
logged out, that file was not syncronized. Did some Google work and some
testing, found out that:

gpedit.msc -> User Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> Windows
Components -> Attachment Manager
Enable "Do not preserve zone information in file attachments"

That solved my problem, but not sure if it is the right way to do it, can
u solve in the Samba4 config instead?

Ofc, i can ask the users to clear the zoon info for every file they fetch
but i don't think they will be able, they are sales guys not computer pros.

Any advice would be nice,

Magnus
