[Samba] Using "pdbedit" to list users - inconsistent result?

Is this for all users or just some users?
If for some users and not others, does "pdbedit -Lv someuser" show
What happens if you delete and recreate a samba account
smbpasswd -x drew
smbpasswd -a drew
