[Samba] problems with old and new passwords being accessible

Hey All,
I'm using samba and winbind for user authentication, though I'm seeing a problem whereby the users are able to still login with their old passwords for up to 12 hours when they change their password.

Is anyone familiar with why this would be occurring?
