Hello
I notice I can modify existing files, but not create/delete. I also
notice that after saving a file I modified, Samba sets its access
rights to 744.
nobody.nogroup owns /var/www, with /var/www/. as 755
Logged on from XP as "nobody".
Here's /etc/samba/smb.conf:
==================
[global]
workgroup = WORKGROUP
netbios name = LINUX
server string = Samba Server %v
security = user
guest account = nobody
log level = 2
[www]
comment = WWW directory
path = /var/www
browsable = yes
guest ok = yes ;access will be permitted as the default guest user
read only = no
available = yes
public = yes
writable = yes
==================
Any idea why Samba won't let me create/delete files?
Thank you for any tip.
