[Samba] problems w/ upgrade v3.3.9->v3.5.2

Greetings,

I've setup a samba server to test printing with v3.5.2.  I've copied 
over the cups config to the test system and installed a clean 
sambav3.5.2 (source3).  I then stopped samba and copied over 
ntdrivers.tdb, ntforms.tdb, ntprinters.tdb, and the driver directory 
over from production (v3.3.9) to test.

My problem is when I try to view driver properties for a queue on the 
server from a windows vista client.  I don't see "Printer Defaults" in 
the Advanced tab (see screenshot):

*If I upload a new driver to the server and apply and close the window 
then the "Printer Defaults" button shows (see screenshot):

*However, this button will eventually disappear after opening/closing 
the driver properties window a few times.

Can someone help troubleshoot?
