[Samba] ctdb with samba and filesystem

Hello together,

i have a question about Samba an CTDB. I configure Samba and CTDB from
the wiki whitepapers .... all works but i have a nice error line in my
logs

"ERROR: recovery lock file /data1/storage not locked when recovering!"
the filesystem is a ext3

and my question is : 

which filesystem and what lockprotocol must be set so that CTDB works:
gfs lock-dlm? Must be use a filesystem cluster?? 

My distribution is ubuntu 8.04 LTS.
