[Samba] * Reloading /etc/samba/smb.conf smbd only

not sure if this is a samba problem because i have only just ran
across this on a fresh install of ubuntu 9.04 server...

whats happening is that the message "* Reloading /etc/samba/smb.conf
smbd only" is occurring every 3-5 minutes right no the command line.
the only software i selected for install during the OS installation is
samba and ssh. as soon as the install finished and i logged in for the
first time this message started occurring. i then decided to run all
software upgrades but this had no effect on this issue.

anyone have suggestions?
