Right - should have mentioned this earlier.

(and they are the same for each directory thereunder)
I stuck SUID and SGID on there so that if I created a directory under my
user account (kyle), the guest user would still have read access. They're
not necessary anymore, I guess.
Anyway, the fs permissions shouldn't be a part of the problem in this case
because the share works under one name and not under the other, but the path
and permissions remain the same.
