Thank you for pointing out that I should have switched off all the special

...but I am pretty sure that this would not suffice to solve the issue I 
documented in my original posting.

I don't think that this list is the right place to discuss such detail, so I 
have opened https://bugzilla.samba.org/show_bug.cgi?id=6050 and would like to 
ask members of the core team to have a look at the points I raised.
