Hello there -
I just upgraded to 3.2.7 via an rpm from fedora - running fc6:
# uname -a
Linux yoda.wrenkasky.com 2.6.22.14-72.fc6 #1
SMP Wed Nov 21 15:12:59 EST 2007 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux
Since upgrading, I am getting the following every hour or so:
[2009/01/07 15:19:08, 2] printing/print_cups.c:cups_async_callback(504)
cups_async_callback: failed to read a new printer list
There's not much in the archives to this particular error
that seemed to apply directly in this instance.
We have just one printer configured through samba:
[global]
load printers = yes
printing = cups
printcap name = cups
cups options = raw
[printers]
comment = All Printers
path = /var/spool/samba
printable = Yes
browseable = No
[HP4050]
comment = HP4050 on Yoda
path = /var/spool/samba
guest ok = Yes
printable = Yes
printing = cups
print command =
lpq command = %p
lprm command =
printer name = Hp4050
I have tried rebooting and failing that, restarted cups and the smb
daemons but to no avail.
Anyone have any suggestions as to where I should look next?
Thanks!
