yes try first sles 10 rpm src recompile
download from
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/network:/samba:/STABLE/SLE_10/src/
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/network:/samba:/STABLE/SLE_10/src/samba-3.4.3-10.1.src.rpm
do rpmbuild --rebuild samba-3.4.3-10.1.src.rpm etc
you might need to download more additional libs for recompile too
but after all sernet rpms should work too
