Hi,
As per you description, the exact bugzilla is
http://www.cups.org/str.php?L3077
As per the above bug, mike has fixed in the svn version 1.3.9 and 1.4-current
So you need to check out the svn version
ie run the below command
svn co http://svn.easysw.com/public/cups/trunk/ cups (this command
will download the cups-1.4)
or you can download the fixed cups-1.3.9 from svn
svn co http://svn.easysw.com/public/cups/branches/branch-1.3/ cups-1.3.9
And also you can file a bugzilla with Red Hat
