[Samba] Why machine LCT field in smbpasswd file not any more updated ? (since 3.0.23)

Hello the List,

Since 3.0.23 when a machine is re-inserted in the domain,
the LCT field in the smbpasswd file is not any more updated.

What is the reason of that new behaviour ?

In my domain, all the home made replication stuff depends of that field.
I would like to know if I its now mandatory to upgrade all the accounts
management to LDAP.
