Hi Volker,

hmmm... good question!

The machine running samba is a small NAS
(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NSLU2) running SlugOS BE
(http://www.nslu2-linux.org/wiki/SlugOS/SlugOSBE).

It seems there's no locale available from my novice point of view:

root at LKG65AAA4:~$ locale
-sh: locale: not found
root at LKG65AAA4:~$ find / -name "*locale*"
/opt/share/locale
root at LKG65AAA4:~$ ls /opt/share/locale
cs es it ko nn pt_BR sv zh_CN
de fr ja nb pl ru tr zh_TW

root at LKG65AAA4:~$ find / -name "*iconv*"
/opt/lib/slang/v2/modules/iconv-module.so
/opt/share/slsh/iconv.sl

Any idea how to find out more?

Kind Regards,
Michael
