Sounds like a bug I filed a couple of weeks ago. Do you have the line msdfs proxy = no in your config, perchance? Ref: 0002554: "msdfs proxy = no" in smb.conf causes shares to be unavailable. http://bugs.centos.org/view.php?id=2554
