Greetings,

I'm running samba rpm's samba-*-3.0.28-1.el5_2.1 on CentOS 5.2
All appears to be working ok, but I'm getting error messages in
some of the tests.
e.g.
# nmblookup -B <IP ADDRESS HERE> <SERVER NAME HERE>
returns:
...
Got a positive name query response from xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx ( xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx )
tdb (unnamed): tdp_open_ex: could not open file
/var/cache/samba/unexpected.tdb:
No such file or directory IPADDRESS SERVERNAME<00>

this occurs in several other tests such as
nmblookup -B xxx.xxx.xxx.255 <HOSTNAME>
nmblookup -M <WORKGROUP NAME>
nmblookup -d 2 '*'
where the result appears to be positive with the error message following.

BRgds/Alan
