[Samba] Linux Workstation in W2K AD Domain Auth Issue (Not the standard issue...)

Hi,
  I have a fresh install of Fedora 7 running Samba (3.0.26a-0.fc7). I
have successfully joined it to my W2K AD domain. My users can log in
on it fine.
The problem comes when a user attempts to browse the network and
access shared resources (ie. Browse to a network share on a W2K
server). When this is attempted, the user is prompted for
username:password in spite of having permissions to access this share.
I was under the impression that Samba provided transparent auth for
network resources once the user was logged in on the domain.
  Any thoughts/suggestions?
Did I miss something or is this just the way it is?

Thanks,
Chris
