[Samba] Mapped username then gets mapped to "Anonymous"

As your smbusers file is part of the equation you may have wanted to post at 
least part of it.

Did you quote the usernames with spaces in /etc/samba/smbusers?

As in:
lpittman = "Luke Pittman"
