[Samba] Samba 3.0.14 and ADS authentication

Hi,

  I have Samba 3.0.14a-3sarge4 package installed. It is actually working 
on other Debian machine with the same configuration, but in this 
machine, after starting samba I get:

  TDBSAM version unknown: 3

  pdb_getsampwrid: Unable to open TDB rid database!

  I keep on getting prompted for an user and password, although they 
work on PC machines, they don't on Mac machines.

  I have googled a bit, but I can't find any reason why I'm getting this 
error. Any way of troubleshooting it?
