[Samba] winbind users template shell

I have "template shell = /sbin/nologin" in my Global smb.conf - How do I
give certain domain users access to the shell

for example:
 getent passwd cat
cat:*:10016:10002:cat:/home/CAD/cat:/sbin/nologin
how do I give user "cat" access to the shell " /bin/bash" ?

usermod -s /bin/bash cat will not work since the user is not local to the
linux machine
