What do you mean with hidden?
1) That they should not view it browsing your network and
your server;
or
2) That they should not 'use/connect' to it?
For number (1) that's a good point, and this part of the
smb.conf manpage could be handy:
...
| The browseable flag for auto home directories will be
| inherited from the global browseable flag, not the [homes]
| browseable flag. This is useful as it means setting
| browseable = no in the [homes] section will hide the [homes]
| share but make any auto home directories visible.
...
In case of (2) just disable it.
