[Samba] unable to authenticate user

The unix permissions are set on the /home drive.  When mapping from My
Computer.... It will not authenticate either.

Can you successfully map if you use the My Computer > Tools > Map 
Network Drive... and specify correct username/password & path 
information?  Are the unix permissions on /home defined correctly for 
the user mapping their home drive?
