[Samba] Samba members in NT4.0 to AD upgrade

hi,

i never did this (so far), but:

if you use mixed-mode (incl. PDC emulator) you should be able to 
continue running samba with security = domain

a member server does not contain a SID-backend. do you mean 
SID2UID-mappings? which IDMAP backend do you use?

may be you can post your results after you migrated successfully?!?!
