Admins often use client side environment variables in
things like logon path.  The variable syntax is ambiguous
for things like %L (Samba var) and %LOGONSERVER% (Win32 var).

If you want the old behavior (expand variables in
passdb entries, see the 'passdb expand explicit' option
in smb.conf(5).
