[Samba] Migrating from Samba 2 to Samba 3

I have a Samba 2 server running on Solaris 9 (sparc).
I have just installed a new Linux FC6 x64 system which has Samba
3 on it.
I would like to move all the Samba stuff from the Solaris system
to the Linux system.
Is there a way the accounts can be imported (the UNIX accounts are
the same, but have differing UIDs) or migrated across?
The current Samba 2 server is set-up as a PDC.
At some point the Samba 2 server will be shut-down, and the Linux
box will take-over. Is there any way to make this as painless as
possible?
