Hi everyone!
I'm just new to the list, hope you forgive my mistakes.
I'm trying to get together two samba servers, one of which, the oldest
one (named "linsvr001"), runs 2.2.7a as PDC.
Before migrating to the newer (running Centos 4.2, named "linsvr002") I
think I need "net rpc vampire" to run successfully.
This does not happen: I get "could not retrieve domain trust secret" to
the command line.
In the logs of linsvr001 I get :
[2006/05/05 15:40:04, 0] smbd/service.c:make_connection(381)
make_connection: root logged in as admin user (root privileges)
[2006/05/05 15:40:04, 0] rpc_server/srv_pipe.c:api_pipe_bind_req(793)
api_pipe_bind_req: unknown auth type 44 requested.
Access to shares is normally available via WXP Explorer.
Linsvr002: smb.conf: security=server
Anyone got ideas? Need further info?
Thanks
Enrico
