[Samba] Re: smb.conf location?

The smb.conf should go in (prefixpath)/lib/, in my case that was 
/usr/local/encap/samba-3.0.21c/lib/smb.conf. The make install doesn't put 
a blank smb.conf file in that dir, so that's what threw me off.
