Interesting. I have working printers defined on this server but...

# find /var/lib/samba/printers/
/var/lib/samba/printers/
/var/lib/samba/printers/W32X86
/var/lib/samba/printers/WIN40

is all I get back... hhhmmmm. Stop samba, move all of the files from under there, restart Samba. At least then you have a fall back plan...
