[Samba] Problem with Samba and Groups

I have a problem with samba Version 3.0.22.
Samba auth against LDAP. It takes up to 5 houres , till samba change the 
groupmembership.
In the groups are up to 600 members.
Is that a problem?
Cache samba the groupmembership?
