[Samba] How can I influence domain logons? was: BDC - how do I check logons?

i think you can't really influence this.
the client (in the netbios world) broadcasts for the DMB #1b and for DCs 
#1c. the first DC answering will be contacted IMHO.

for testing purposes you could try to stop *mbds on PDC and try to logon 
on a client. it should contact the BDC.
