[Samba] samba client windows port?

Hi,

Is there any port of samba client for microsoft windows 2k/xp and is it
possible to this?

I need to add huge amount of memory cache ( more than 1 gigabyte ) to
windows smb client to overcome occassional network or server shortcomings
because I need to capture video over network to a samba server ( not local
harddisk).
